L. Albright
"The come hither look cannot be found on the knee, or the nipple. It's in the eyes." -L. Albright

Artist Statement

I try to capture human emotions in my work, and translate that through paint. I do not believe a person's sexuality or eroticism is captured solely in the representation of their body. A person's expression, a certain look in the eye, tells you more about their desire than anything else. The come hither look cannot be found on the knee, or the nipple. It's in the eyes.

Erotica is for a woman rarely visual. But as an artist who is also a woman, I find that visual images can get my heart rate up. These images are an extension of myself, a representation of the space I inhabit when I feel erotic.
